2012 will be the 27th year that Southend-on-Sea has staged one of Europe's largest free Airshows. The two day Southend Festival of the Air is undoubtedly the most spectacular event in Southend's calendar. Staged against the backdrop of the Thames Estuary along almost 2 miles of seafront, over 40 aircraft displays will be featured from across the ages.
